Dr. Jason Glass is the Superintendent and Chief Learner of Eagle County Schools, a district of 7,000 students and 18 schools located in the central Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Jason previously served as Iowa’s state education chief, as a consultant, and has held several district and state level roles.  He has worked in all levels of education, from early childhood to college. Jason holds a BA in Political Science, has earned two masters degrees (one in political science and one in education), as well a Doctorate in education. Jason lives in Eagle, Colorado with his lovely wife Sarah, who is also a teacher, and their two children.

 

Jason shares a little about his family, background, (he has worked in several different states) including being personally recruited by the Governor of Iowa,  his love of skiing and mountain biking, and singing and playing guitar in a “cheesy wedding cover band”
